How does ampcast work

AMPcast is the latest addition to Pandora’s suite of artist-to-fan communications tools. Other services include Featured Tracks and the AMP platform that allows artists to grow audiences, track progress and connect with fans. AMP also allows artists to geotarget Artist Audio Messages to reach fans in their region. Previously, the only way to get an AMP account was to be a Pandora playlist curator or go through a distributor such as CD Baby to be added to their platform. Now, any artist who is spinning music on Pandora can claim an AMP account by connecting their Twitter log-in.
